Story: Peace Walker is the “missing chapter” in the Metal Gear saga. Set during the seventies, it is a direct sequel to Metal Gear Solid 3. For those who haven’t played that game, I’ll spare you the reveal concerning Snake, but rest assured its the same character from Snake Eater. The game fills in the gaps, and should answer all our questions regarding the creatin of Outer Haven and nicely setup the events that took place way back when in the original Metal Gear.
